PRINT VOLUNTEER SHEET

Purpose:  To complete second story of the “Haitian Queen” staff and volunteer guest house for Touch Global Crisis Response

Where:  Gressier, Haiti 1 1/2 hours west of Port Au Prince.

When:  Saturday to Saturday.

Cost:  $75 daily room for board, air fare not included. Prior to trip, send to:

Skills needed:  All building trades, but mainly carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters and handy helpers.

Tools:  You can bring your own hand tools. Tools needs may change depending on when you come. Bring closed shoes, flip flops, hats, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, water bottle, towel, personal items and snack foods that you prefer for breakfast and lunch.

Weather:  Two seasons, dry season and rainy season. 90+ degrees.

Dress:  Shorts fine for men. Women-modest clothing, skirts, long shorts. Bring some nicer clothes for Sunday. Haitians dress up.

Vaccinations:  Tetanus required Hepatitis A&B recommended but not required. Malaria prophylaxis, Doxycycline or Chloraquine suggested. Bring your prescription meds.

Travel information:  Valid passport. 2 bags 50 lbs. each allowed
